2024 NCCAA Tournament Banquet

Teams should plan to arrive no later than 6:15 pm. All in attendance are expected to follow banquet attire of business casual (no jeans).

Parents wishing to attend the banquet should contact Grace's athletic office at (855) 781-0061 to purchase tickets. Tickets can be purchased on a limited availability over the phone using a credit card. The deadline for banquet ticket purchasing is Monday, March 13. Limited tickets for the public are available for $20 or $150 for a table of eight people.

CHAD BRISCOE - Director of Athletics, Grace College

Chad Briscoe headshot 2021Chad Briscoe has guided Grace College's athletic department for 15 years, guiding Grace into a regional and national power during his tenure. Briscoe's energetic vision has helped Grace enjoy unparalleled success across the school's varsity programs.

Grace has won three straight NCCAA Presidential Awards, given to the NCCAA's top athletic department during the school year. Grace has won 16 national championships since 2019; the school had two national titles prior to Briscoe's arrival.

Briscoe secured a number of high-profile events for the department as well, including two Big Ten basketball games (Grace vs IU, Grace vs Purdue). Grace was selected as the host for the NCCAA Div. I National Championships for men's and women's basketball from 2012-24, the first time the NCCAA has held both championships at the same venue.

At the national levels, Briscoe currently serves as the President of the NCCAA as well as the chair of the NAIA's National Administrative Council (NAC). Briscoe is a four-time Crossroads League Athletic Director of the Year and the 2022 NACDA NAIA A.D. of the Year.

GENE FITZGERALD - Score International

2917Gene Fitzgerald has been a mobilizer for SCORE International for over a decade, taking numerous teams on mission trips.

He coached at various levels for 40 years. He spent 11 years coaching high school, eight of which were at the Christian Academy in Japan. He also has 29 years of experience spent coaching in small colleges, including Covenant College, Christ College in Taiwan and Trinity Christian College.

He was the NCCAA National Basketball Chair for several years and NCCAA Coach of the Year during the 1996-97 season.  His teams played in the NCCAA National Tournament four times, twice with Covenant and twice with Trinity Christian.

Fitzgerald graduated from Gordon College and was the first basketball player elected to Gordon's Hall of Honor.

He and his wife Marian live in Lookout Mountain, Ga. They have two children and 10 grandchildren.
